Hello, my name is Logan Kinney, and I am the woman behind "Miracle Mama". I am a mother to my son, born 9/19/2012 in Brooklyn, NYC.  I live with my "threenager", amazingly supportive husband Steve Kinney, in Denver, CO. We are new to Colorado; I grew up at the Jersey Shore, and my husband and I bounced around the NYC area for the 8 years before moving across the country to start our new lives. I am forever a beach girl, but I am also enjoying the beauty of the mountains! After a few minutes of poking around my site, I am sure you can see that I am an experienced yoga teacher, natural mama, doTERRA wellness advocate, doula, and wannabe mermaid!

Trainings, Certifications, and Degrees

I did my first Yoga Teacher Training at Yoga to the People, on the Lower East Side of Manhattan in 2011. I went on to complete an 85hr Prenatal Yoga Teacher Training at YogaWorks SoHo, a Kid's Yoga Training with Om-Schooled, and a Hot Yoga Training with Rockaway Beach Hot Yoga. Upon moving to Colorado, I completed a Level 2 teacher training at CorePower Yoga, and an additional 85 hr Prenatal Training at The Mama'hood, in Denver. My wide range of experience makes my classes well rounded, safe, challenging, and fun!

I attended Rutgers University, and graduated with a double major in Art History and English, and a minor in Psychology. I went on to get my Master's Degree from Pace University in Manhattan, in Childhood Education, with a concentration in Special Education.

I am also trained in Reiki, Doula work, and currently in a 600 hr program for Massage Therapy at Denver Integrative Massage school.

Interests and Passions

As a mother myself, I am passionate about serving other mothers. Whether it be in their prenatal yoga classes, their births as a doula, or working with them postpartum, I love being a part of the journey. I see being a mother as a unique gift, a chance to connect to the divine and find miracles through our everyday lives. The days are long, but the years are so short! Aside from the yoga teaching and birth world, I love spend time outside, preferably by water when possible! My favorite is spending time on the water doing SUP Yoga, but I will also settle for a sweaty and hot vinyasa class! There is nothing more peaceful to me than some uninterrupted yoga time on my mat ! I also love to read books that inspire me, and help me grow along my spiritual path.
